Point of View Story

How Mark’s production company created a 3-day sales cycle.

Hey Reader,

Before Mark from Point of View Story found us, he was struggling to describe who his company was, what they do, and how their offering was here to serve the world. Which is a shame, because the therapeutic films at Point of View Story do a lot of good for those who’ve been impacted by harm and violence in the sex industry.

And just being honest, but Mark’s story is the same one I hear all the time (and maybe this sounds a little like you and your brand, too). You’re mission-driven and itching to make an impact. But the elements that make your brand stand out? Not even close to hitting the mark.

Here’s what we discovered during the initial market research to assess the root cause of why their brand wasn’t missing the mark:

  • Their brand messaging was unclear and confusing at the point of discovery which increased their website’s bounce rate
  • They were struggling to secure bigger, more stable clients because they couldn’t portray the value of their product
  • Their website content was too literal (stock photography of darkness, chains and people in pain) which only made their offers appeal to the wrong customers who were outside of their target audience
  • Their brand colors and fonts weren’t optimized for the web which made every section of the website hard to read

And we know it may not sound like that big of a deal, but it also ended up slowing down their sales process and adding a lot of manual intervention because potential customers didn’t understand who they were without a formal sales conversation. If it’s one or two clients, it may sound like a big deal, but for Point of View Story, it was contributing to tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary operational costs.

Which is why we got their branding spruced up, their messaging clear as crystal, and their customer journey mapped and implemented across every single touchpoint on their website.

And that small project alone? It shrunk Point of View Story’s sale cycle from *almost* non-existent to outcomes closing in just three days. If you’ve ever wondered what the ROI was on hiring a branding and design agency or optimizing your website, it’s not just about making something pop or trying to get it to look pretty. It’s about making it easier to reach the right prospects faster.

That’s how we define success and the kind of efficiencies we seek to create on every project and collaboration. Click here to learn more about our services or fill out this form and tell us about YOUR next project.
