Daydream MDHow Daydream MD’s Rebrand + Website Re-Secured Their Google Search RankingHey Reader, When we first started working with Daydream MD—a San Diego-based ketamine and therapy clinic—they were right in the middle of a major turning point for their business. They were building a brand new office, refining their offers, and targeting a more elevated clientele than their previous customer avatar would suggest. As we started to kick off their website redesign, the Daydream MD team was concerned about the SEO repercussions: they’d spent years investing in their incredibly high Google ranking and didn’t want the redesign of their new site to bump them from the first page of Google. Instead of approaching the project like a brand new, never-before-indexed website, we worked closely with Daydream MD’s SEO strategist to determine a well-researched transition plan that wouldn’t impact their Google ranking at all. Not only that, but their project tipped off a HUGE brand upgrade, which included verbal positioning, brand language, and a content library full of sales angles that Daydream MD could repurpose across every corner of the internet. We revamped almost every element of the Daydream MD brand, but the key areas that created the majority of the transformation took place by… Elevating their brand to look like a luxury consumer product or service, rather than a small business that was just starting out Clarifying their visual identity so it looks like it’s at the same caliber of luxury wellness brands like Equinox, Hims, and Alo Yoga Developing the key messaging that would make them known as the go-to place for world-class mental health services in their geographic region Optimizing their website content flow for conversion so they could generate more leads that convert into future clients Leveraging their past SEO investments and ensuring that version 2.0 of their website had no impact on their Google search ranking Decluttering the content on their website so key content was intuitive and easy-to-find, instead of all over the place One of the other parts of this project we enjoyed was how cross-collaborative the creative process became. We worked hands on with work streams and internal teams across Daydream MD’s organization which not only made their project 10X more effective—it also generated even better ideas than if we had worked with just one person.
