Shoutout to momsWe're big fans. When we were seniors at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, team Emerald (before Emerald existed!) went all out for the annual Mom's weekend flower show. Charlee and Leah did a Matisse themed exhibit, complete with painting a 7 foot wall, building a structure to hang laser cut flowers and even making matching t-shirts for us and our moms! We've always enjoyed doing the absolute most. Enjoy some photos below. We love seeing your inspo, and it might be featured on a future issue of Design Dispatch. 🔦 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT Speech in Bloom is a holistic speech and feeding therapy practice based in NYC. Their team was growing and they were looking to increase client inquiry calls and the overall client list. They needed a brand and website that reflected their excellent care and would speak to New York City parents. We saw that other speech and feeding therapy practices don't address parents and their needs. Health or developmental concerns about a child can cause anxiety and stress. The Speech in Bloom brand needed to feel calm, soothing and grounded. Logo system needed to work at many sizes across digital and print spaces. We included directions with and without the modifier "Speech & Feeding Therapy" for flexibility. Speech in Bloom, thank you for your wonderful collaboration! Olympic state of mind🏅 Emerald is staying busy this month, making good progress on some projects launching this fall! We've also been trading notes on who we're cheering for, especially in some of the newer sports like breaking (great Daily episode about the history of breaking) and skateboarding.
